Product Description:
Our personal water filter straw has an indefinite shelf life if unused and stored in a protected environment with moderate temperature and low ozone levels. This upgraded straw can not only connect to disposable water bottles with 28mm threading as a squeezable water filtration system, but it can also serve as a replacement filter for different gravity systems, including our own 6L gravity system "B08ZYMXLMH".
The upgrade to our water filter straw includes a larger filtration capacity of 5,000 liters (up from 1,500 liters previously) and a faster water flow rate. To drink the filtered water quickly, stand the dry filter in drinking water for 1-2 minutes or rinse the straw from the mouthpiece side until the interior is wet. After each use, backwash with clean water and vertically place the straw to dry.
To extend the lifetime of the straw water filter, we suggest always using the best fresh water source to backwash it after each use. Note that it does not work for seawater and should be stored dry.
