WASHABLE & REUSABLE - This filter can be washed multiple times, but it should only be cleaned when the cartridge itself is dirty, or as per the recommended change-out cycle, to avoid re-contamination of the filtered water.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The smaller the pore size, the purer the filtered water. However, smaller micron ratings are not always better. If the raw water has a high level of contaminants, a filter with a smaller micron rating may become blocked more quickly, leading to a faster pressure drop and shorter filter replacement cycles, which can increase maintenance costs.

Typical service life is 3-6 months, depending on the volume of water filtered and sediment levels. It is recommended to flush 5 gallons of water through the filter before use, and to operate within the specified temperature range of 40-113°F.
